NVQ level 2 - Unit BT 13 - Provide Nail Art Services

To complete an NVQ in Unit BT 13 at level 2 you will be required to demonstrate knowledge and practical competence in the following;

• Coloured polishes
• Rhinestones
• Flatstones
• Polish secures
• Painting techniques
• Base coats
• Glitters
• Blending
• Topcoats
• Transfers
• Foiling
  

This course is very demanding and will require extra reading, work and case studies on real clients to be completed at home through out the course of the term.

Assessment

There will be 4 Practical assessments and a written exam at the end of the course. One observed assessment must be for nail art applied to toes.

You Will Need

Uniform of white tunic with white or black trousers, low healed fully enclosed white or black shoes and nail art kit.
